EDUARD SOPONAR
Eduard Soponar is an entrepreneur, performance coach, and co-founder of The Performance Code whose work focuses on the intersection of elite athletic discipline, entrepreneurship, and high-performance training. His career combines experience in competitive sport, startup leadership, and large-scale partnerships across business, technology, and entertainment. Eduard spent over 14 years as a competitive swimmer, competing internationally and representing Romania on the national team. In 2015 he broke a Canadian swimming record, an achievement that reflected years of high-performance training and the mental discipline required to compete at elite levels. His athletic background continues to shape his philosophy around resilience, execution under pressure, and the physical foundations of sustained performance. Following his athletic career, Eduard transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding and scaling several ventures across technology, media, and experiential industries. He is the co-founder and CEO of The Connecter, a decentralized finance platform designed to simplify access to digital financial infrastructure and Web3 technologies.

In parallel with his work in technology, Eduard has led large-scale experiential and entertainment projects, including the development of Canada’s largest fashion and music festival, featuring international artists such as Tyga, and the creation of a modeling agency that connected emerging talent with brands and entertainment platforms. Eduard has also served as a mentor and advisor within global entrepreneurship networks, including roles connected to the World Business Angels Forum ecosystem and the Ugwumba Leadership Center’s international advisory community, where he contributes to initiatives supporting leadership development and startup growth. Through The Performance Code, Eduard brings his experience in elite sport, entrepreneurship, and physical performance training to the platform’s retreats and training programs. His focus is on developing the physical discipline, mental resilience, and execution habits that allow individuals to operate consistently in high-pressure environments.
